It's Been a Banner Year for Scrapbooking

and shopping!  (More on that later!)

In January, I went to a no-frills weekend crop.  It's a nice crop with plenty of room.  The hotel is comfy and our rooms were right across the hall from the crop room.  I even splurged on a 15 minute massage with Tracey which was a first for me and felt great.  And most importantly, good friends!

I tried to plan my pages but I am never successful doing that and I end up winging it.  This was supposed to be a dry run for prepping and packing for the upcoming Raleigh crop but I ended up throwing a bunch of things in the car.  I even took my regular storage containers right off the table.

Here are some of the layouts I made from my birthday trip to Disney.

This is a simple layout of pictures from the lounge at Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary Resort.  I used Studio Calico papers, American Craft thickers plus tags, twine and label from my stash.

These pictures were taken on our drive from Tampa to Disney.  This layout mostly uses products from the Shimelle Laine's Best of Both World January Kit plus some bling, wood veneer hearts and a Jenni Bowlin label.

This is the first picture we took in the Magic Kingdom.  We are planning to close the park this night at 3:00am. I used My Minds Eye papers, Simple Stories letter stickers, buttons and border sticker from my stash.  The journaling is on the tag I cut from My Mind's Eye paper.

We didn't make it until closing but we were pretty close.  This is a super simple layout using papers from the kit, stickers from Simple Stories and American Craft Thickers.

This is my birthday dinner, just a simple meal at the Crews Cup in the Yacht Club resort.  The patterned papers are from the kit, the banner is from My Mind's Eye, the chipboard gifts are from Basic Grey and the letters are Pink Paislee.

On our last night, we saw Smash Mouth in EPCOT as part of their Eat to the Beat program.  I love them and I loved the show!  I used Echo Park, My Minds Eye and possibly American Craft paper, the stars are from My Minds Eye, EK Success and Studio Calico, plus thickers, an Elle Studio label plus washi tape and a border sticker from my stash.
